If the average Christian spends thirty minutes a day in devotional time and five hours a day watching television, what is going to have the greatest influence? Of course it will be the cool communication because it is going directly into his mind without being filtered through reason. Think about it. The worldly garbage and lies are going directly into our mind without being censored…and a lot of that is going into our unconscious mind. Let me rephrase that, a lot of Satan’s lies and unholy influences are going directly into our mind. We may do a little censoring, but we are feeding the wrong side of our nature. Perhaps this is why so much of the church looks just like the world and many churches are closing down for lack of attendance. The spirit realm has been closed to us to protect us. We should be very thankful when we don’t see into it because of the demons that would frighten and deceive us. However, as we progress further into the chaos of these end times, we are going to have an “open heaven” even as Jesus promised to Nathanial in John 1 when he said, “Hereafter you will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.” To see into the spirit realm is not only to see angels, as Jesus promised Nathanial, but also to see the other spirits in that realm that are demons. Jesus said when he saw Nathanial, “Behold, an Israelite in whom is no guile.” The word “guile” means “deceit.” In other words, Jesus’ message here was saying when we are without deceit, meaning when we have come into spiritual perfection, we will be able to see into the spirit realm even as Jesus did.

The Devil and his demons know the Scriptures. They use this knowledge to attack humanity in their attempts to destroy us. The scripture verse at the beginning of this article is known by the demons and they use it to their advantage. The verse states that hatred blinds people’s eyes and destroys their ability to see. Specifically this verse is speaking about a Christian hating a fellow Christian, but the principle is also seen in our attitudes towards people in general. Hatred blinds people’s eyes to the truth. Period. So if the Devil can blind our eyes, he can lead us into every falsehood and take us right into his trap to destroy us. Deliverance Ministry

As more and more people find out and as the presence of God and his kingdom increase worldwide, there is going to be a release of the Devil’s captives like the world has never seen. It will be of biblical proportions, I think even greater than the parting of the Red Sea when the Israelites fled from Egypt, because it will involve the entire globe.
