Most people think of trauma as a bad memory. But for an SRA survivor, trauma is a structural part of their mind. From a very young age, often starting before birth, a system of mind control programming is put in place. This is not just “stress”, it is a deliberate attempt to change who you are at your core.
Traditional therapy or standard church prayers often miss the mark because they do not understand the complexity of spiritual programming. Without the right kind of support, survivors often feel like they are “too broken” to be fixed. I am here to tell you that it is a lie. You are not too broken; you have simply been under a system that requires a specific key to unlock.
The Ancient Roots of Mind Control
To find the right SRA survivors support, we have to understand the history of the enemy’s tactics. Mind control is not a new invention. It actually traces back to the Tower of Babel.
In Genesis 11:6, the Bible says, “And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” This was the first time humanity tried to create a unified system of rebellion against God. The enemy has taken that same desire for total control and refined it over thousands of years. The goal of SRA is to create a “Babel” inside your mind, a place where your identity is confounded and divided so that the abusers can control what you “imagine” or do.
Understanding the Manipulation of Your Essence
One of the deepest parts of the SRA experience is what I call the “Manipulation of Essence.” The architects of this abuse are so dark that they attempt to interfere with an individual as early as the zygote stage.
They try to introduce “alternative essences”—whether they be animalistic or other human identities—to create a fractured foundation before you are even born. This is why many survivors feel “alien” or disconnected from their own bodies.
However, we must remember the truth of Psalm 139:13-14:
“For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
No matter what rituals were performed, they cannot erase the fact that God was the one who covered you in the womb. True SRA survivors support starts by reclaiming this fundamental truth: you belong to God, not to the system that tried to rewrite you.
The Splitting of the Mind: How Programming Works
The enemy knows that the human mind is resilient. To control it, they have to break it. This is usually done before a child is six months old. Through extreme trauma, the mind is forced to “split” or dissociate to survive the pain.
This creates what the world calls Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), but in the context of ritual abuse, it is a “witch’s web” of control. By the age of three or four, more splits are created, dividing the left and right hemispheres of the brain.
- The Bicameral Reality: The brain is divided so that the left side does not know what the right side is doing.
- Assigned Roles: Different “parts” of the mind are given specific tasks or “alters” to serve the cult’s purposes.
The Bible warns in James 1:8 that “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” The abusers use this instability to keep you vulnerable. But with the right recovery pathway, these divisions can be healed, and the mind can become one again.
The “Internal Computer” and Subconscious Control
Many survivors describe their internal experience as having a “computer” or a control center. This repository holds all the programming and abuse instructions.
This internal system dictates:
- Thoughts and Actions: Making you feel like you are not in control of your own body.
- Relationships: Sabotaging any connection that might lead to your freedom.
- Dreams: Creating surreal or fantastical dreams (sometimes involving astral travel) to keep you questioning what is real.
When you seek SRA survivors’ support, you need someone who knows how to “debug” this system. It is not enough to just talk about your feelings; we have to go into the subconscious and remove the “software” the enemy installed.
The Danger of Public Trauma Sharing
I want to offer a word of caution. Lately, it has become popular for survivors to go on podcasts and share their stories. While sharing can be good, doing it without proper healing can actually be dangerous.
Constantly recounting the details of trauma without expert deprogramming can actually reinforce the programming. It “cements” the trauma deeper into the soul.
Jesus did not come so you could stay in perpetual pain. He came to restore you. Psalm 147:3 tells us, “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” Effective support focuses on the solution—Christ’s healing—rather than just reliving the horror.
Dealing with Family Betrayal
Perhaps the most painful part of SRA is that the abusers are often family members. Whether it is a father, mother, or grandfather, the trust that should be sacred is twisted into a tool for control.
This feels like an impossible betrayal, but it is something the Bible spoke of.
Matthew 10:36 says, “And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.”
If you have been betrayed by your family, know that there is a “spiritual family” waiting to support you. You are not alone, even if those who should have loved you failed you.
Finding Hope through Spiritual Support
The goal of all this programming is to sever your connection with God and replace it with fear. But the enemy is finite, and God is infinite.
Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that our battle is not against people, but against “principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world.” Because the battle is spiritual, the SRA survivors’ support must also be spiritual.
There is no chain that Jesus Christ cannot break. No matter how deep the programming goes, the soul is deeper. If you are motivated and you want freedom more than anything else, you can get “cleaned out” and find peace in a matter of months, usually 2 to 4 months.
Practical Steps to Start Your Recovery

- Seek Specialized Help: Do not go to a counselor who does not understand ritual abuse. You need someone who knows the “formula” for deprogramming.
- Focus on Scripture: Use the KJV Bible as a tool for truth. Let God’s Word redefine who you are.
- Establish Safety: You cannot heal if you are still in contact with your abusers. Create a safe space for your mind and body.
- Pray Specific Prayers: General prayers are good, but SRA requires specific prayers that target the programming and blood covenants.
